Mike Vanderpost | General Manager

As the General Manager of Thomes Ltd. North America, Mike Vanderpost is committed to building strong supplier relationships as he leads our sales, purchasing, and administrative operations.

Mike supports customers across North America with a primary focus on OEM partners, leveraging decades of experience in the industrial panel industry. With an unsurpassed enthusiasm for plywood, he boasts a diverse background that spans cabinet installation, regional sales, quality control, management, and urban forestry.

Mike takes pride in helping our customers find a solution that not only meets their specific needs but also helps them grow their businesses. Outside work, he coaches university rowing and enjoys traveling the world.

Aaron Weinstein | Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager, Aaron Weinstein is responsible for overseeing sales throughout Western Canada and is actively expanding our company’s presence in the United States. As an integral part of the Thomes Ltd. team, Aaron maintains our website and leads various marketing initiatives.

With over two decades of industry experience, Aaron’s resume includes key roles in sales, customer service, procurement, and product management for several established distributors in Southwestern Ontario. This extensive experience has provided Aaron with a well-rounded understanding of both the supply-side of operations and customer support.

Outside work, Aaron enjoys cheering for his kids at sporting events and can often be found at a hockey arena or baseball field.

Valentina Spracklin | Ontario Business Development Manager

Since 2021, Valentina Spracklin has been working for Thomes Ltd. as the Ontario Sales and Business Development Manager, building strong customer relationships and driving steady growth. With a background in sales and business development and over seven years of experience in the Baltic birch and specialty panel industry, Valentina boasts strong multitasking skills and can adapt to any situation. By taking a collaborative, customer-first approach, she consistently delivers practical, value-driven solutions beyond standard offerings.

Chris Gibson | Eastern Canada Sales Representative

Chris Gibson is the Eastern Canada Sales Representative for Quebec and the Maritime provinces. He works closely with industrial panel distributors and OEM customers in the forming, truck body, and trailer industries. With over 28 years of experience in marketing, manufacturing, and distribution, Chris has vast expertise in the areas of composite panels and wood products and prides himself on providing reliable, concise, and competitive solutions that meet our customers’ specifications.

Outside work, Chris enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing, and is always on the lookout for the next best seafood dish.

With a postgraduate degree in Global Business Management and 20 years of experience in the oil/gas and diplomatic sectors, Jeannina has vast expertise in procurement, logistics, and administrative tasks, providing a solid foundation for overseeing complex supply chain functions.
